Ai-Da Robot

Ai-Da is the world's first ultra-realistic humanoid robot artist. I designed her artistic arm and developed the algorithms that allows her to sketch whoever she sees. I then went on to build and program a newer arm that is able to use colours and paint Ai-Da's perception of whatever she sees.

Find out about my involvement with this incredible project here.

Greeting Fudge

Collaboration with Not Toys
Completed December 2021

Not Toys are famous for producing sculptures of their famed character, Fudge. Some are small to be placed in households and shops while others are huge to be placed in outdoor areas. Each one has a different pose in which Fudge is placed in.

We collaborated with them to build the 'Greeting Fudge' as it was their first movable sculpture. We made its arm move to have it raise and lower its crown, greeting the mall's guests.

The Serpenti Wardrobe

Collaboration with Amr Helmy Designs
Completed June 2022

Ever though of speaking your shoes into existence? We collaborated with renowned designed Amr Helmy to create the smart shoerack for the Serpenti Wardrobe.

It's a rack that can rotate on its own to bring you the pair of shoes you ask for with a simple voice command. A simple "Bring me my blue sneakers" would make your favourite blue sneakers within arm's reach in seconds.

The product was featured in "The Design Show" exhibition, one of Cairo's largest architecture, interior, product design and landscape design shows.
